RIDE DESCRIPTION: An AIDS/LifeCycle Official Training Ride From Garfield Park in South Pasadena we make our way southwards into Alhambra, then head east through San Gabriel and Temple City. We continue through to Irwindale where we pass the Santa Fe Dam Recreation area and into Citrus and Azusa. We ride along a portion of the Historic Route 66 and continue to Duarte where we have a break at Encanto Park along the San Gabriel River. From there we turn back westward and make our way through Bradbury, where we climb a short hill past Bradbury’s cute city hall. We ride a gradual two mile climb in Sierra Madre, and have another short rest at the top, then roll back down into South Pasadena. Mostly flat ride with the some hill climbing towards the end of the ride.
